That it was right on the Gulf. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grounds were neat as well.
The rooms in their motel need to be updated. Maybe new rugs and definitely new beds. The beds were miserable. I would recommend it to others because it does have a beautiful location and as I said, the staff were very nice.

Great location very near to the beach (we stayed in the motel). Sea view from all rooms. I would recommand to stay on the first floor (we did - better view). Very nice beach.
Only a smal pool area, not very inviting.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Sanibel Island for a week-long vacation. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, with a stunning view of the beach right from our room's sliding glass door. It was so convenient to have beach chairs and parking provided at no extra cost, allowing us to easily enjoy the beach without the hassle of driving and parking. The friendly and knowledgeable office staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The room, with its comfortable beds and spacious layout, was ideal for two people. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. our experience at this hotel was wonderful, and we would definitely choose to stay here again.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location on the beach, view of the water, quiet, kitchenette (with fridge/freezer, coffee maker, stove, toaster) was convenient for making breakfast and lunch. Staff provided good restaurant recommendations (coupled with one's own internet research). (Note-if you will do dolphin boat excursion from sanibel or captiva, reserve in advance. Also-ding darling refuge has on-site bike rentals, guided tours (check schedule), and tram tours with guide, in addition to trails and 4-mile gravel drive for self-guided bike/walk/drive. You will need bug spray if temp is above 70 degrees or so.)
For reservations less than one week, no maid service. They tell you this in advance but I raise it nonetheless-if you don't want to wash your own dishes and make your own bed, be warned.

The location was awesome. The beach was quiet and private with very little traffic. Very family oriented.
You are your own maid service. This was not spelled out in the information. Didn't mind getting towels everyday but would have been nice to have someone run a vacuum daily due to sand tracked in on the floor.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect as it was very close to the Gulf and the beautiful beach. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also had self-service linen and towel exchange and beach chairs, which made our stay even more convenient.
Nothing, all great.

It was conviently located, close to shopping and restaurants and just steps from the beach. The room was extremely clean and attractive. Also, the Friday night social hour at the pool with food and drinks was a very nice touch.
The only complaint I had was there was a large group from Minnesota staying there and early in the a.m., they took all the beach chairs and covered them with towels and hoarded them all day long even though they were not always using them. We had no chairs to sit on when we wanted to. I think management should not allow this to happen.
